Viv Loves Film, a literary and entertainment company specialising in world-building franchises and book-to-screen adaptations, proudly announces its exclusive representation of the entire literary estate of Brian Jacques, the internationally acclaimed author of the “Redwall” series. This milestone deepens Viv Loves Film’s decade-long partnership with The Redwall Abbey Company and ushers in an exciting new chapter for Jacques’ beloved stories.
In addition to representing all of Jacques’ works, Viv Loves Film announces the first-ever live action adaptation of his writing: “Jamie and the Vampires”. This completed short film based on the 1991 story of the same name, part of the short story collection “Seven Strange and Ghostly Tales”, was produced by Double Coat Productions, a company owned by recent MetFilm, Brighton graduates Patrick Franklin and Annie Shay. This film marks a historic expansion for the Jacques’ universe. “Jamie and the Vampires” release date will be announced soon (watch the official trailer here).
